CREATIVE LEARNING DONE DIFFERENTLY
As an educator and Teaching Artist Daniel has taught, facilitated and delivered programs in a range of schools, universities, theatre companies and arts organisations.
He has held the positions of Lecturer and Mentor, Director of Theatre Performance, Innovation and Partnerships, Head of Department (Performing Arts), Drama Director, Head of House, College Cultural Coordinator, and Acting Senior School Coordinator. He was the Creative Leadership in Learning Coordinator for the Children, Families and Education team at the Sydney Opera House, and the Manager of Young People for the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), as well as a Senior Drama syllabus writer, review panellist and external assessor for state-wide curriculum and assessment authorities.
He is an Arts for Good Fellow, working in Singapore and India, and was the Australian representative in the inaugural Lincoln Centre Education Teaching Artist Leadership program in New York. He has convened arts education conferences, delivered professional learning, and served as a member of the management team for professional associations for Drama, and has been invited to present at multiple conferences, including International Teaching Artist Conferences in Australia and Scotland.
